6 months...

That is how long it has been since I have last posted. I said before I was going to try to keep it updated. I just forget and then when I do remember, it seems like there is way too much to catch up on and it seems like it will take forever. So anyways I finally decided I needed to just catch up. Alot has happened since I last posted in February. First off, Eric got hired at the airport in Vegas and I was able to quit my job at Rapport and stay home with the kids. I am so thankful to be a stay at home mom again. Secondly...I am 18 weeks pregnant with baby # 3. Who just happens to be another boy. YaY! Time has been flying by lately. In just one week we are going on a family trip to Disneyland with Andrea, her boys,my mom,Grandma Helen, Jamie, my kids and myself. It is going to be alot of fun. Just one week after that, Jaidyn starts kindergarten. It's crazy to think that she will be in school 4 days a week now. Colin will start 3 year old preschool right after labor day. I don't have their schedule yet, but if they happen to be at school at the same time, I won't even know what to do with myself. Thankfully at the end of December the new baby will come along to keep me plenty busy while Jaidyn and Colin are at school. :) Everything has been going great with the kids. They are growing up so fast. Colin is super excited to have a baby brother. Jaidyn was very upset at first that it is a boy, but I think as time goes on she is getting better about it. As much as I love being a stay at home mom, it is very hard having Eric gone all the time. His schedule Thurs-Mon from 4 a.m to 12:30 p.m. So he doesn't come home at all on the days he works. He gets home Monday after work and has to go back Wed evening. So we only see him 2 days a week. It is very hard, but the thought of him driving back and forth scares me too much. So I would rather him get to stay down, even if that means we don't get to see him much. Thankfully my mom and Andrea are here or it would be really hard for me being alone all the time. Well thats all I can post for now. I am sure I am missing alot of things, but as I remember, I will update. :)

But you are my best friend ever...

those are the words that came out of Colin's mouth today as he was crying to Jaidyn because she wouldn't play with him.lol It was seriously the funniest thing. Even though I did feel bad that he really just wanted to play with Jaidyn and she wanted nothing to do with him.

I have been off of work since Friday and it has been nice to spend so much time with the kids. Although I have to say that their attitudes lately are really not very good. They are constantly calling me a dumb idiot when I don't let them do what they want. Jaidyn is the worst. I just don't even know what to do to make her stop being so mean. I am constantly sending her to her room for a time out and it doesn't seem to help at all.

Today I wanted to go to Caliente to get a few things and so Eric and the kids came along. We went to Family Dollar to get a few things and then went and ate some lunch. It was nice just to get out of the house even though we really didn't do much of anything.lol The kids seemed to have a good time too.

Being home for 4 days in a row has really made me sad to know I have to go back to work on Thursday. Being home with the kids all the time and seeing all the funny things they do all day makes me sad that I can't be here with them all day everyday. Hopefully soon enough Eric will get the job at the airport and then I won't have to work anymore. It is taking forever for him to get this job and it is really frustrating. I am just hoping it is all worth it in the end.

After a week...

of all of us being sick in this house, I think we are finally all getting better. Colin is still coughing, but he is feeling MUCH better and Jaidyn and I are also.

I was supposed to start at the Speedway today, but had to call to tell them I couldn't work there. I will still work there for the big events, but I just won't be able to work there all the time. I actually feel relieved knowing that I will be able to be home with my kids on the days that I don't work at Rapport. Sometimes I feel like with work, I hardly get to spend time with them.

On Saturday...my mom and I drove my grandma to the airport. She is going to Tennessee for a couple of weeks to visit her sister. We had to leave here at 5:30 in the morning. :( We picked up Jamie and dropped grandma off at the airport. Then we headed over to Black Bear Diner for breakfast. They seriously have the best biscuits and gravy EVER! After that we headed to Target to get some of our shopping done. After we were done we dropped Jamie back at home and went to Costco. My mom and I were all done and headed back to Alamo by 12:30. I couldn't believe we were done that early. We were both exhausted though so I was glad we were getting home early. I went to bed so early that night and slept for 12 hours. I felt so good when I woke up yesterday morning. I was in need of some good sleep.

Eric has been so awesome lately. He took care of me when I was sick and even cleaned the showers yesterday so that I wouldn't have to do it. He is such an awesome husband. Even though sometimes I want to slap him, he really is the best!!

It's been so long.

I just realized that I hadn't posted anything in over a year. That is just crazy. I went private for a while because I had some creepers that kept leaving me comments. Anyways I decided to go public again and hopefully I can keep this updated more often.

So much has changed since I last posted anything. Eric lost his job at the Ferrari dealership last January and still hasn't found anything. He has been applying at tons of places and still hasn't found anything yet. He applied at the airport in Vegas and they did the final tests and interview and he passed everything so hopefully he will get hired there soon.

Since I last posted we have been to St. Louis and Illinois twice to visit Eric's parents and go to some Cardinals games. We also went to Disneyland on Thanksgiving with my whole family. Except my dad couldn't go. Even my grandma who is 81 years old went with us and we all had a blast. The kids loved going with the whole family and I have to say that getting to spend Thanksgiving at Disneyland with my family was so much fun.

Since Eric hadn't had any luck finding a job, I decided to go put in my application at a few places around town. About 2 weeks later I got a call from Rapport and they wanted to hire me as a housekeeper. That came at just the right time. I started in September and about 3 weeks after starting I had to take my first class LB1. At Rapport they have about 4 or 5 different classes that people take and in order to work there we have to take all of them. I was SOOO nervous and as much a I hated the class in the beginning, I learned so much from it and I can tell that it changed me as a person to have more confidence in myself. I made alot of friends that weekend and I am so grateful for all of them.

I decided I needed to try and find another part time job on my days off. The speedway is hiring part time and I used to work there in ticketing. I still go to work there for the big racing events. So they told me to come to work there on my days off. I am excited/nervous. I am just glad that I have been so lucky to find work since Eric hasn't had any luck at all. He has been trying so hard and I feel bad. As much as I hate being away from my kids, I know this is what I need to do right now and I know that eventually I will be able to stay home with them again. I was supposed to start at the speedway today, but I have bronchitis so I guess I will be starting next Monday because I work at Rapport this week.

Christmas came and went and it was a wonderful Christmas. The kids got lots of good presents and had a blast. Colin's 3rd birthday fell about a week later. I can't believe my baby is 3. It is definitely time for another. I just realized the other day that if things would have went as planned we would have been having another baby this month. CRAZY. Everything happens for a reason so I know when the time is right we will have another one. Jaidyn is turning 5 in March and it seriously makes me want to cry.

I am sure I am forgetting some things but this will have to do for now. :)

I am such a slacker!!

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted on here.I guess I didn't realize how long it had been. I don't get on the internet near as much as I used to because we don't have the internet at our house. When we first moved in I told Eric I didn't want to get the internet because if I have it, I will spend too much time on it. I am now starting to rethink that.lol So much has happened since I last posted. We moved into our new house, went on a couple of trips to disneyland and got a new puppy. We love living in Alamo. The kids couldn't be happier. They love being around all the family that lives there. Jaidyn absolutely loves preschool too. The kids and I also started going to church when we moved up to Alamo and we couldn't be happier. For the longest time I felt like there was something missing in my life and I couldn't figure out what it was because I already had 2 beautiful kids and a wonderful husband. Once I started going to church, I realized that is what had been missing in my life. I have never been happier then I am now. I start teaching my first class this Sunday. I am teaching the 7-8 years old. I am also doing activity days once every two weeks with the 8 year old girls. I am really looking forward to it. We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. I loved spending our first Christmas in our new house. The kids and I came to Vegas tonight so that we could have a b-day party for Colin with Eric's family while his parents were still in town. I can't believe my little baby is turning 2 on Monday. The time has gone by way too fast. We are having a small party with my side of the family on Saturday. Well that's all I have to say for now. I will try and post more often!

1st day of preschool.

The kids and I headed to alamo first thing last Wednesday morning for Jaidyn to start her 1st day of preschool. She goes every monday and wednesday from 12 to 1:30. We stayed in Alamo for a whole week so Jaidyn could go to school and I could go to Ashlee's bridal shower. I loved being there and I didn't want to come home. The only reason I was excited to come home is because I wanted to see Eric. Jaidyn loves school so much and gets excited on the days that she gets to go. Here are a couple of pics of her from her first day. She wouldn't smile at all and was being a big brat. These are the best I could do since she wasn't wanting me to take any pics.

Here is a picture of her from her 2nd day of preschool. At least I got her to smile in this one.

The kids had such a good time the whole time we were in Alamo. It felt so nice out that they got to go outside everyday and play. It just made me think how much they will love it when we get moved up there and they can play outside everyday. We have a pool that takes up most of our backyard here in Vegas, so it will be really nice to have a big backyard once we get moved to Alamo. We got the rest of our papers signed for the house. We should be getting the keys anyday now. I can't wait to start getting it fixed up. Jeremy measured for our fence and he is buying the material when he goes to st.george this weekend. The kids and I have to head back to Alamo on Sunday afternoon so Jaidyn can go to school on Monday. We will be there for a week and a half. Ashlee's wedding is next weekend, so we will stay for that and stay through the next week until after Jaidyn gets out of school that wednesday. Thankfully Eric is coming to Alamo next weekend, so we won't have to go a whole week and a half without seeing him. Tomorrow Jamie and I are going to get our nails done for the wedding. I know it is a whole week before the wedding, but since I will be leaving to Alamo, that is the only time I can get it done. I also think I am going to get a pedicure while I am there too. I can't wait!

Nothing too exciting

has been going on with me this weekend. I have gotten alot accomplished though. Since they are having such big sales this weekend I went to toys r us to get the kids some toys for christmas. I was very happy with what I found. I couldn't believe how much I got for such a little price while I was there. I have also been taking care of Eric because he has a hurt foot. He dropped a car trailer on his foot at work this last week and he can't walk very well. I tried to get him to go to the doctor because his foot is bruised really bad, but he is very stubborn and won't go. It is Alex's birthday tomorrow. That is Eric's brother. So we are having him and Eric's sister and her husband over for dinner and cake. I ordered Alex a baseball cake. He is a big baseball fan, so he should like it. Jaidyn starts preschool this Wednesday and I can't believe it. I have to admit that I am a little sad because she seems to be growing up so fast. I am also excited for her to go. She is very excited and has been looking forward to it for a long time now. I know she is going to love it. We will be in Alamo for a whole week. Ashlee's bridal shower is next Saturday so we will stay for that and then Jaidyn will go to school again on Mon and Wed, so we will leave after she gets out on Wednesday. That weekend will be the only weekend I will be home in September. We will go back up for Jaidyn's school the next Monday and we will stay all week because Ashlee's wedding is that Saturday. It is going to be a stressful and busy month this month. With everything going on. I also have a doctors appointment on the 21st, so I will have to drive the kids all the way to Alamo so Jaidyn can go to school and then back to vegas for my appointment and then back to Alamo when I am all done. I have a funny story that I am still laughing about. A few days ago Jaidyn was telling Colin to say "mama" so he said mama. Then she told him to say "dada" so he said dada. Then she says to him "Can you say DVD Player" Colin shook his head no. It was the funniest thing I had ever heard. I don't know what made her think to have him say dvd player. Anyways I just thought it was funny and cute.
