My birthday

I can't believe I am already 23. I mean of course having two kids, I already feel alot older than I am, but it is weird to think that I am now 23. Today has been a good day so far. Last night Eric came home from work and told me he had to give me my birthday cake eary. Well it turns out he had ordered me a whole lemon cake from The Olive Garden. I love their lemon cake and so does Eric. He actually spent that much money just to get me a cake he knew I would love. Then this morning I woke up and Eric gave me my present from him and the kids. I thought for sure I was going to get the betsey johnson perfume I asked for, but he got me a gift card to old navy instead. Fine by me, now I can buy some new clothes. Then the kids and I headed over to TMA around 10:00 so that I could take Jamie her birthday present and also the cake I made her(I made her a strawberry shortcake). Jamie and I exchanged gifts, she bought me the cutest zip up hoodie. It isn't a thick one though, it will be perfect for when the weather gets a little cooler. She also got me a american express gift card. Sam also gave me my present from her which is a really cute so cal zip up hoodie. Then Jamie, the kids and I headed to The Olive Garden for lunch. We got there right when they opened and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. Thankfully both the kids were good the whole time. I was a little worried that colin would get fussy because he didn't get to take his long nap this morning. Then we drove Jamie back to the office and came home. It has been a wonderful birthday so far. Although I have to say that no birthday will ever be as good as my birthday last year, that is when Eric asked me to marry him! Tonight Eric is going to order Macayo's for us to have for dinner because that is my favorite and tomorrow Sam, my dad, Jamie and I are all going to The Outback for dinner. Eric is going to stay home with the kids because by that time, Colin will be tired and fussy. After dinner, Sam, Jamie and I are going to go do something fun. We aren't sure what yet, but it will be fun! Andrea, my mom,Tyson and Ryan have to come to town tomorrow for some appointments, so they are going to stop by for a bit. That will be nice to see them for a while. Andrea better bring me a birthday present.lol

Tuesday

I really can't think of a better title at the moment. I am so tired today. The last two nights I have barely gotten any sleep. I was so exhausted from working all weekend. On Saturday I went in and filed most of the day, then on Sunday I spent the whole day cleaning the whole house. On Sunday night I woke up at 4:30 to feed Colin and I could hear him talking for over a half an hour, so I couldn't fall back asleep. Then last night a little before midnight, I heard some guy yelling outside and then I was wide awake for over an hour. I hope tonight I can get some good sleep. I was laying down on the couch a little while ago while colin was napping and Jaidyn was watching her cartoons. Jaidyn never wants me to lay down though, so she kept yelling at me to wake up.lol So I had said before how I wanted to lose 5 lbs before family pictures. Well I got on the treadmill twice and then just stopped doing it. All I have done is eat a bunch of junk for the last couple of weeks. Well I went to weigh myself and I had lost 2 more lbs.lol I don't know how the heck that happened. I eat junk constantly and never work out, but I lost all of the baby weight and haven't gained a pound. I guess I am just lucky. I think most of it is because I carry Colin's chubby butt around all day.lol Anyways, I am hoping to lose the other 3 lbs within the next two months. I am sure I can do it if I really worked at it.

Peace and Quiet

Eric decided this morning that he wanted to take Jaidyn to the park. She hasn't been in a long time and it is really cool in the mornings now (the perfect weather to go to the park). I had some stuff I needed at Target, so I told him he could take Jaidyn to the park and Colin and I would go to Target because I knew by the time we got back from Target, Colin would be ready for a nap. Colin and I went to Target and he was really good the whole time. Sure enough, as soon as we got home, he went down for a nap. I just called Eric and they are still at the park and Jaidyn is having a great time. Well that means I have some peace and quiet for once. I would love to just lay down on the couch and watch some of my recorded episodes of 90210, but I know that I really need to clean the house. I went into work yesterday and I was gone most of the day, by the time I got home, the house looked like a tornado had hit it. Eric never keeps it cleaned up. I never let it get this bad because I am constantly picking up toys all day long, but Eric doesn't, he just lets it get a mess. So I really need to clean up all the toys and sweep and mop. I hate sweeping and mopping,but someone has to do it. I mentioned in my post before that Colin loved sitting on Jaidyn's dora ride. Well here is a picture of him on it, he was really excited!

Boring Friday

Just like usual. We don't ever do much. Friday's are the worst though because all I want is for the day to be over so that Eric will be home all weekend. I swear Friday's always seem like they just drag on. Colin is sitting here next to me on Jaidyn's dora ride on just smiling and laughing. Good thing he likes it because we bought him a spider man ride on for Christmas. He just got done being fussy. I swear he cried and screamed for an hour for no reason and Jaidyn slept through the entire thing. She didn't even move. I don't know how anyone could sleep through that. At least he is happy now. Colin woke up at 5:15 this morning and I thought I could die. That is the second time this week that he has woken up before 5:30. I mean he always wakes up pretty early anyways, but normally not this early. I bet tomorrow he will sleep in later just because I have to wake up early. I am going to get up early and head over to TMA to file. Jamie is going to meet me there at 7:30. I actually look forward to going in and filing. Not only does it get me out of the house all by myself, but it keeps me plenty busy and Jamie stays there with me the whole time and it is just me and her. Not to mention it is extra money! So Jamie and I's birthday is next Thursday and we have been trying to think of something fun to do. Sam asked if we wanted to go out to dinner on Friday so that is a for sure thing. We aren't sure what we are going to do after that though. Eric said he would stay home with the kids while I went out. I asked Jamie if she would want to go gambling and maybe just go walk around somewhere fun like planet hollywood or something.

Is it bed time yet?

For some reason today, I feel so tired. I haven't even done anything to make me feel this way. Of course I can't go to bed this early though because Jaidyn is never ready for bed until between 8:30 and 9:00, sometimes even later than that. I really need to try and get her into a routine of going to bed earlier. Colin went to sleep about an hour ago. He isn't usually in bed that early, but he didn't take a long afternoon nap like he normally does, so he was very tired. My mom sent both Jaidyn and Colin a card in the mail with $5 for each of them today. Jaidyn was so excited. I told her tomorrow we could go to Target and she could buy something with it. When I asked her what she wanted to buy, she told me a new book.lol She loves to look at books. Half the time she doesn't like me to read them to her though. The other day I was reading to her and she actually put her hand over my mouth because she didn't want me to read anymore.lol There is an episode of max and ruby that Jaidyn keeps watching and it has a story about magical beans. Well Eric went to the store on Sunday to get some refried beans and Jaidyn asked where he was. I told her that he went to the store to get beans and she said "magical beans?"lol It was so cute. I am starting to get worried, Colin is almost 8.5 months old and he still has no teeth. I just can't even believe it because jaidyn had her first tooth at about 4 or 5 months. I am starting to feel sad because both the kids are growing up so fast. I mean Colin is going to be a year old in 4 months. Where has the time gone? It seriously feels like he was born just yesterday.

I am exhausted!

I guess it's because I am not used to being on my feet most of the day. This morning Jaidyn had her tumbling class and it didn't go so well. She didn't like it all. I can't say that I blame her. She barely got to do anything. They only had one girl doing the whole class so the whole time, all the kids had to sit there and watch everyone do the stuff and when it did get to Jaidyn's turn, she only got to do it for a few seconds at a time. I felt bad for her because she was so excited when we got there and then when we left, we asked her if she liked it and she said no. Then I kept looking at her in the back seat and she looked so sad the whole way home. So I don't think we will be going back for that. Thankfully the class didn't cost much. I just feel bad because I was really looking forward to Jaidyn being able to do something fun and it turned out to be not so fun for her. Jamie came with me to Jaidyn's tumbling class and on the way home we picked up some food and came home and ate lunch. We bought jaidyn a happy meal which made her feel a little better. After we ate, Jamie and I left to head over to TMA so that I could start doing the filing. Jamie hung out there with me the whole time and just did her homework, that way if I had any questions than she was there to answer them. I mean I know how to do the filing, but I haven't even worked there in over 8 months, so some things have changed a bit. I was there filing for 5 and a half hours. I still have tons to do, but that's ok because I really want to get in as many hours as I can. All the money I make filing, Eric and I are going to use to take Jaidyn to disneyland in December. I would have worked for even longer, but it was already 6 by the time I left there and I really wanted to see Colin before he went to bed since I didn't get to see him much today. Now that Jaidyn doesn't have her tumbling classes anymore, I will probably go in first thing on Saturday mornings and file most of the day. Here is a picture from jaidyn's tumbling class. For some reason they all turned out really dark so you can barely see it. The flash was on, but it seemed really dark in the room.

Well Eric and Jaidyn are watching spiderman downstairs and Colin is asleep, so I think I will take this oppurtunity to go watch one of my own shows upstairs in my bed.

Sick again?

So the other night I woke up really sick in the night and threw up. Well I was finally feeling all better yesterday and then last night about 5 minutes after I layed down in bed, I started to feel really sick. I went and sat in the bathroom for about a half an hour feeling like I was going to die. I finally threw up and felt a little better, but felt exhausted by that time. This morning I have a headache and my throat hurts, but at least my stomach isn't bothering me. I don't know why I keep feeling so sick the last few nights. So I got the pictures back from JCPenney's of the kids. Here are a few of them.



You would never tell by looking at these pictures, that Jaidyn was very naughty that day. So tomorrow I have to go into TMA so that Sam can show me how to set the alarm and lock up since I will be there alone when I go in to file on the weekends. Jaidyn has tumbling class at 10:00 on Saturday morning and it lasts for 45 minutes, so I will probably go in and file after we are all done with that. I am looking forward to it. Eric and I had been planning a trip to Disneyland with his parents in February. Well we feel bad that Jaidyn keeps saying how badly she wants to go. So yesterday I asked Eric if I just saved all the money I made from filing for the next couple of months, if we could use it to take Jaidyn to disneyland in December and still go with his parents in February. I love going when they are all decorated for Christmas and I think Jaidyn would love it too. Surprisingly enough, he said yes. Jamie said she would babysit Colin because we didn't really want to take him with us. So as long as it all works out with Jamie's work, we are going to go to disneyland on a Monday, december 15 and come home the next day. I have never been the week before Christmas. Does anyone know if it is extra crowded at that time??
