I am surprised

at how fast this week is going by so far. I know it's only Tuesday, but yesterday and today have flown by. I thought for sure the week would go by so slow because I can't wait to go to Alamo on Thursday. Today I have been doing laundry and cleaning house, so I guess that is why it has been going by pretty fast. Colin has finally started to walk. He can only walk about 5 steps at a time, but at least thats better than him not walking at all. He is so cute when he does it too because he gets a big smile on his face because I clap everytime and you can tell how happy he is that he did it. Nothing else has really been going on since last time I posted. We went to TMA yesterday for Sam's birthday. We had cupcakes that Jamie had ordered from the cupcakery. They were really good. I can't wait for American Idol tonight. Usually I don't watch it after the hollywood audtions are over, but the guy I really like made it through, so I have to keep watching it now. This weekend I really want to go to the mall and get some new pants from Anchor Blue. Last time I went there to buy pants, they didn't have the kind that I always used to buy. I was sad about it, but I bought a different pair. At first I didn't think I liked them very much, but now they are my favorite jeans. So I think I need to go get some more. I also want to go get Colin a pair of shoes. I never bought him shoes before because I figured what was the point of wasting money when he doesn't even walk. Well now that he is sort of walking, I want to buy him some shoes. Plus I hope that by the time we go to disneyland in 3 weeks, he will be walking some more. Speaking of our disneyland trip, jamie has decided to come with us now too. It is going to be so much fun. I wish Sam could go, but she can't miss work. So it looks like Andrea, my mom, Jamie and Tyson will ride up in Andrea's car and Eric, the kids, Ryan and I will ride up in our car. It should be fun. Jaidyn will like having Ryan in the back seat with her, plus since he doesn't mind watching the movies that Jaidyn and Colin like, it should be good.

I'm so excited...

because I just found out that Andrea, the boys, and my mom are coming to Disneyland with us next month. Andrea called and asked if they could come with. Well of course I don't mind because I love going on trips with my family. At first we weren't sure that we would be able to stay at the same hotel because we bid on priceline and when you get a hotel that way, you don't know what hotel you are going to get until after you pay. So thankfully we got really lucky because Andrea went on and put that she wanted a 3.5 star hotel by disneyland for $41 and it gave her the same hotel that we are staying in. So it worked out really good. I mean we could have stayed at different hotels, but that would have sucked. So Andrea is going to drive her car with the boys and my mom and Eric, the kids and I will drive up in our truck and we can just follow each other. Jaidyn is going to be soooo excited to find out that grandma taylor, andrea and Tyson and "Rynan" are all coming to disneyland with us. Yesterday Eric and I went to the olive garden for lunch while Jamie watched the kids for us. After we were done eating, we wanted to go look for a new bed. We were going to get a bed from the wynn hotel, but it was going to take 6 to 8 weeks. Well neither of us wanted to wait that long. We went to Mattress Firm by our house and found the perfect bed. We got a king size sealy posturepedic pillow top. It is seriously the comfiest bed I have ever been in. We got it delivered last night and so we were able to sleep in it for the first time last night and I slept better than I have in a really long time. Not only is it much softer than our old bed, but it is much bigger too. We got it for a really good deal and they delivered it for free, so I was excited about that. Tomorrow the kids and I are going to TMA for a bit. It is Sam's birthday, so we have to take her over a present from my mom and visit her for a bit. Then on Thursday morning we are leaving for Alamo. My mom took the day off of work to hang out with us. We are probably going to come back on Friday evening because I hate driving back on Saturday morning because it feels like I waste most of my day driving and unpacking. At least this way we will still have the whole weekend to do whatever we want.

Disneyland again and a new bed.

So this week has been exciting. We haven't done a whole lot, but we found out this week that we are going back to Disneyland in March. Jaidyn is always talking about how she wants to go back. I love it there, so I would go there all the time if it were up to me. I sent Eric an email just joking around asking him if we could go to disneyland or sea world anytime soon. I really didn't think he would let us because we went to Sea World in August and Disneyland once in November and once in December. Well of course when I told him how Jaidyn really wanted to, he said we could.lol We haven't told Jaidyn yet, we are going to try and make it a surprise for her. We are going a couple of weeks before her birthday, so it can be part of her birthday present(like I haven't bought enough for her already for her birthday).lol We are going to go on March 19th which is a Thursday. It shouldn't be too crowded, so we should be able to go on alot more rides than we did last time we went. Last time we went on a Sunday a couple of weeks before Christmas, so it was very crowded so we couldn't ride all the rides we wanted to. Colin also seemed to really enjoy it when we took him in November, so I think he will love it this time too. We are going to go up on the 18th and come back on the 20th. I am not sure what else we will do while we are in Cali, probably go to the beach or something. I am excited and I can't wait to go. Also this week Eric and I decided to buy a new bed. I am so excited because our bed is so small and not very soft. We have wanted a new one for a while, but never wanted to spend the money. Well we finally decided it was time. The Wynn hotel always orders extra beds and they sell them. Since Eric works there, he can get a king size bed for a really good price and they deliver it for free. It is a pillow top, so it is really soft and comfy. It is the same bed they use in their rooms, so you know it will be comfy. I LOVE hotel beds. They are always the softest.I can't wait to get it. I am not sure when Eric is going to buy it or how long it will take for them to deliver it, but hopefully we can get it soon. That is pretty much all we have been up to this week. I can't wait for Saturday to go to lunch with Eric without the kids. I also can't wait to give the kids their Valentine's presents. Jaidyn is going to be so excited. It was so cute this morning she printed out some max and ruby valentines and wanted to make a card for Eric. I helped her make it and she was so excited. Then of course she wanted to make one for herself.lol So i let her make a card for herself.

Monday

I know I am so lame lately, I can't even think of a good title. I had a good weekend this last weekend. I actually left the house, all by myself. That doesn't happen often. On Friday, we were bored, so Eric said he would meet us for lunch. The kids and I met him at Red Robin and it was really good. I got Colin and Jaidyn chicken fingers and fries to share. They split theirs up into two baskets. Colin ate his entire basket full of food, of course Jaidyn didn't though. It's so funny because Colin eats so much everyday. He will also eat pretty much anything I give him. Thankfully he isn't picky like Jaidyn so he can have a variety of foods. On Saturday, Jamie text me to see if I wanted to go to the movies. Of course Eric said that was fine with him. So we headed to lunch at The Olive Garden and then after we were done there, we went over to the Red Rock. We had over an hour before the movie started, so we decided to gamble a little bit. I didn't win of course, but jamie won $40 or $60, I can't remember. So the movie was on her. I was sad because I always like to play the quarter Wheel Of Fortune, but they no longer have the quarter ones, only the dollar ones. Well of course you lose your money much faster playing the dollar machines. Finally it was almost time for the movie. We saw "He's Just Not That Into You." It was a really good movie. It was a little over 2 hours, so it was pretty long, but it was really good. By the time we got home from the movies, it was already 4:00. The rest of the night, I just hung out and didn't do much until bed time. On Sunday, we woke up and hung out for a while. Then we all headed to Wal Mart to get some groceries. After we got home, I cleaned the house really good. It was already clean for the most part, but I needed to sweep and mop and clean the upstairs bathroom which always takes forever since I have to scrub the shower so good. After I was all done cleaning, I didn't do a whole lot. We ate dinner and then I gave the kids their bath and took a shower and then i was ready for bed. I couldn't make myself get on the elliptical all weekend. I do plan on getting on tonight though. I am so excited because I paid off two of my credit cards today. It feels really nice to have those paid off and not have to make those payments anymore. I am hoping once we get our money back from our taxes, we can pay off the rest of our credit cards.

Thursday

This week has gone by pretty fast for me. On Tuesday, I took the kids to the park. The weather was so nice, we didn't even need jackets. I actually felt hot the whole time and I had a short sleeved shirt on. Jaidyn had a really good time playing, although when it was time to leave she threw a huge fit. I felt bad because she doesn't get to go to the park that often, so I know she didn't want to leave. Colin also enjoyed being there. He likes just hanging out in his stroller watching all the other kids play. At first I was nervous to take the kids by myself because I am afraid someone might kidnap one of them if I have to look away for just a second. I told Jaidyn before we went to the park that she had to stay close by me so that I could watch her the whole time. She did very good about staying close by. After we left the park, we went to target so I could get a few things. As I was falling asleep on Tuesday night, my stomach started to hurt really bad. I figured if I just went to sleep, hopefully it would go away. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to run to the bathroom. I just knew I was going to throw up. I sat in the bathroom for about 30 minutes feeling like I was dying. Thankfully it all went away. From being up so much in the night, I was too tired to do anything yesterday. So we didn't leave the house. Today the weather is supposed to be nice, so I am going to take the kids to the park after we eat lunch. Hopefully I won't have such a hard time getting Jaidyn to leave this time. I have been proud of myself for using the elliptical as often as I have been. I was worried that I wouldn't make time to do it, but so far I have been using it alot. I am so out of shape it isn't even funny. I am just going to have to work my way up to being able to use it for longer periods at a time. Each night I have been adding 5 more minutes. We don't really have any plans for this weekend. Eric keeps telling me to go to the movies or do something since I never leave the house by myself. For some reason I feel bad doing that though. Although I have to say that having some time to do something without the kids, would be nice. Next weekend for Valentine's Day, Jamie is going to come over and babysit the kids for a little bit while Eric and I go to lunch together. I can't wait. We never go out to eat anymore because it just seems like too big of a pain in the butt with both the kids. Especially because colin is always so whiny. So it will be nice to get out of the house for an hour or so all by ourselves. I just hope Colin isn't too mean to Jamie. He is always mean to her and anyone else that comes to our house. He really doesn't like anyone that isn't his mommy or daddy.

Finally some more teeth

Colin got his first 2 teeth when he was 10 months old and hadn't had anymore until yesterday. He had been extra fussy on Saturday and I couldn't figure out why. Well now I am guessing it is because he had two teeth coming in. They are on the top and one of them is all the way through and the other one isn't all the way through the gums yet, but you can see where it is starting to come through. It's about time he got some more teeth. Well we ended up taking Jaidyn to Chuck E Cheese's yesterday. I was feeling bad that she doesn't get to leave the house much, so I thought it would be fun for her. We got there as soon as they opened at 9:00. We were the first people there. We were there for an hour and there was hardly anyone else there. I guess first thing in the morning is the perfect time to go. Ryan and Tyson's birthdays are coming up in the next 2 months. Jamie is taking Tyson to see Fall Out Boy, so I thought I would take Ryan to Chuck E Cheese's. That way he could do something fun as well. I think he would really enjoy it. I had a coupon if you bought 40 tokens for $10 than you would get 60 tokens for free. So we only paid $10 and had a crapload of tokens. We were there for an hour and when we left, we still had a whole cup full of tokens. I guess we can use those for next time. At the end, we had 110 tickets, so Jaidyn was able to get a couple of little prizes. Colin even seemed to enjoy it there. He got to ride in a few cars that move back and forth and make noises. He really liked that. We finally had to leave because he was so tired. As soon as we got home, I put him down for a nap and he slept for 3 hours. I seriously kept getting worried that he wasn't breathing anymore since he was asleep for so long, so I kept going and checking on him every so often and he was still breathing.lol While he slept, Eric and jaidyn went to the grocery store and I cleaned up around the house. Of course once the super bowl started, we had to watch that. I didn't really watch because I was too busy doing laundry and making dinner. I made some really yummy enchiladas for dinner last night. They are different than the kind I usually make. My mom puts this sauce in them and it is so good so I decided to try making them and it tasted just like when my mom makes them. Then I spent the rest of the night cleaning up the kitchen, giving the kids baths and working out on the elliptical. I got off of the elliptical just in time to see the last few minutes of the super bowl. Eric really wanted the cardinals to win, but unfortunately they didn't. Oh I forgot to mention that last night I went upstairs to get some laundry and I came back down and Colin didn't have his clothes on anymore. It turns out he got into Sammy's food and water. I noticed that he had something in his mouth. When I put my hand in there, he had some dog food in his mouth and he really seemed to be enjoying it.lol When Jaidyn was little, she was constantly trying to eat Sammy's food. This is the first time Colin has gotten into it.

Should I or shouldn't I?

We had made a plan to take Jaidyn to Chuck E Cheese's today. Well she has been acting pretty naughty lately, so I can't decide if we should still take her or not. I do feel bad because I think sometimes she is naughty because she is stuck in this house with Colin and I all day and it is probably boring for her. I always want to take the kids to the park, but then I get too nervous to take them by myself because I am afraid someone will try and kidnap one of them. Eric and I have been sitting here this morning trying to figure out if we should take her to Chuck E Cheese's or not. She has never been there before and I think she would love it. Yesterday Colin had an appointment to get his pictures done at JCPenney's. He cried most of the time because he was scared once we set him on the floor, but the lady was able to get him to stop a few different times and she was even able to get him to smile. So even though she couldn't get too many good ones, she did get about 3 or 4 poses that turned out cute. I was pretty excited that we were able to get some good ones. I can't wait to go pick them up. While we were waiting to look at pictures, we were walking around JCPenney's looking for some stuff. Jaidyn wasn't with us because she stayed home with Jamie, so I decided I would look for her some pj's for her birthday. Her birthday isn't for 2 months, but I pretty much have everything already bought except for some new pj's. JCPenney's was having a sale and all their spring pj's were 45% off. So I have a couple of cute pairs for her. Of course every pair I liked and I would hold up, Eric didn't like them so I couldn't get them. He actually picked out the two pair that I bought for her. After we came home, Jamie hung out for a while and we watched a movie. Then she left and Eric and I had to sit here and listen to Colin scream the entire afternoon. No matter what I did, he was not happy. I really don't know what his problem was. He is always pretty whiny, but never as bad as he was yesterday. I thought that maybe once he got to be a year old, he wouldn't be so whiny and so needy all the time, but boy was I wrong. He still wants me to hold him all the time. I sure hope he grows out of this eventually. Especially if Eric and I have another baby in the next year or so. I called my dad to invite him over for dinner tonight, but I still haven't heard back from him. It's weird that he hasn't called me back because usually he does. I am going to make some really good enchiladas that my mom makes. She puts this really good sauce in them and it is SOOO good. I can't wait to make them. Eric of course wants to watch the super bowl today so we are going to be watching that. I absolutely hate football, so it should be pretty boring for me. Oh yeah, I just remembered one more thing I wanted to write about. Yesterday Colin was being whiny and Jaidyn called him a butthole. I was like what did she just say. Eric just thought it was funny. I was like that is not funny. I told him he has to stop using words like that in front of her. Although I guess I am not such a good example for her either because the other day I said the word shit and she said "why did you say the word shit."lol It's like she knows it is a bad word. Thankfully she never says it though.
