Change of plans

We are leaving on our girls trip this Friday, however it is no longer a "girls" trip. Sam isn't able to go because she still isn't feeling 100% better, so now Eric and Colin are coming with instead. When Sam said she didn't think she could come, Eric told me that he wanted to go. Well of course I had to check with everyone first since it was supposed to be an all girls trip. Noone seemed to mind, actually everyone seemed happy that Colin would be coming along. I have to say I am a little nervous of how Colin will do in the car for 5 hours. I mean he screams his head off when we drive across town in the car. I just have to tell myself, that even if he isn't happy, he will either cry himself to sleep eventually or cry the whole way to san diego.lol I am really hoping he does ok. Eric and I decided that we would take our truck and Colin will ride with us and we will send Jaidyn in my grandma's car with everyone else, that way she can watch her movies and not have to listen to Colin cry. This will work out good because Eric and I can take turns driving and sitting in the back with Colin. I have a feeling Colin will love Seaworld. He loves going places and seeing things, so I am not worried about that part of the trip. Mostly just the driving. Eric insisted that I buy tickets for us to take Jaidyn to the breakfast with Elmo on Saturday morning. $40 for a breakfast.lol Jaidyn will love it though. Everyone else passed on that part, so they will just walk around the park with Colin while we go to the breakfast. I am getting so excited, but also very nervous. I always get nervous when I have to pack to go anywhere. I always think I am going to forget something. Well now I have to pack for 4 of us. You better believe that I already made up a list of everything I need to pack. I got most of the laundry done already, so there isn't much else left to do besides pack.

The day is never going to end

I swear today has been one of the longest days ever! I guess it's probably because I can't wait for Friday to get here so we can leave on our girls trip. Tomorrow Andrea, my mom and the boys are coming down to Vegas for some appointments so hopefully we will get to hang out with them for a while. I don't know what is up with Colin today, but he has not been happy all day. Even if I am holding him and playing with him, he still isn't happy. So Eric and I have been talking about trading in my car and getting an SUV. I know it's crazy with the price of gas, but seriously I hardly ever go anywhere anyways. Plus we have found some really nice used SUV's for soooo cheap. I of course would like either a durango or a tahoe, but Eric likes all the uglier looking SUV's. Well I think I might have talked him into letting me get a durango. I mean I should get to choose what I drive since he gets to keep his truck now. And even if he doesn't keep his truck, that means he will be buying something for him to drive and I am sure he will buy something that he likes, whether I like it or not. The durango I found is black with gray interior. It is a 2005 and only has 38,000 miles on it. It is only $12,883. I couldn't even believe when i saw how cheap it was. It looks like most of the used durangos are that cheap. Probably because noone wants to buy them right now. So anyways I am really hoping Eric lets me get it. Well I should probably go clean up so I can start dinner in a little bit so it will be ready when Eric gets home.

I am so tired

after a day of swimming yesterday. It seems like we were outside for most of the day. Andrea and Jeremy came to vegas and brought the boys over to swim. Jamie also came over to swim with us. After swimming for a couple of hours, the boys wanted to go see a movie. So Jamie and I took Jaidyn and the boys to see Kung Fu Panda. The boys thought it was funny, but Jaidyn fell asleep half way through the movie and slept until almost the end. When we got back to my house, Eric's brother Alex had come over to swim with the boys. So the boys, Alex and Jaidyn went swimming again. Well they swam for at least another hour. Andrea and Jeremy got here to get the boys and they stayed and visited for a while. Then they left and shortly after Alex left. By that time it was almost 6:30 and I felt like I was ready for bed. Well by the time we got bath's, showers and everything else done, we were able to get in bed by about 9. I am so tired today. Although, I invited Jamie to come over to swim again today. Jaidyn loves swimming so I figured we could swim for a couple of hours today. I needed to clean the upstairs bathroom so I was getting ready to go do it, when Eric told me he would do it. I told him no it was fine, I would do it, but he kept insisting that he would do. Well that is awesome for me because now I don't have to. Jamie should be here around 11 to swim. Friday night

I haven't really done much tonight. Usually we don't do much on Friday nights. Eric came home and we just ate sandwiches for dinner, then we just sat around and played with the kids. Well Colin went to bed at around 7:30, even though he napped for 3.5 hours earlier. I think he was just exhausted because we were outside in the heat for hours today. We went over to Sam's house to visit. Sam, the kids and I went to Target and spent an hour there, then we went back to her house and Jaidyn swam for a couple of hours. By the time we left there, both the kids were exhausted. They both fell asleep in the car soon after we left Sam's house and they both stayed asleep as I moved them in the house. So anyways after Colin went to bed tonight I decided to go tan. I have limited myself to 3 nights a week. I would seriously go everynight, but Eric won't let me because he says that is way too much tanning.lol I suppose he is right, but I of course, never feel like I am tan enough. I am getting so excited for our girls trip. Sam and I bought a bunch of travel items today at Target. I am feeling guilty about leaving Colin for a few days. I am just afraid he is going to miss me too much. Even the other day when I was gone for a few hours, he was screaming his head off for Eric for a couple of hours and as soon as I got home and picked him up, he stopped crying. Well it makes me think that he is just going to scream his head off for 2 days straight. I really don't want Eric to have to deal with that. Hopefully Colin will just enjoy the peace and quiet with just him and Eric.Here is a picture of Colin sitting in the high chair.
I never put him in there because Jaidyn has always used it and Colin always eats in his bumbo seat, well now Jaidyn likes to sit at the table so now Colin has taken over the highchair and you better believe that Jaidyn is not happy about it.lol Colin loves sitting in there though, he is always so happy once I sit him in there. Well I guess I should head to bed. I am really tired and I have a feeling Colin will be up very early tomorrow.

I am so glad...

that my doctors appoinment is done and over with. I had to go in today for my annual exam. I get so nervous that for weeks before, that is all I can think about and everytime I am done with the exam I think of how it wasn't even that bad and I made myself stress for no reason. I love my doctor, he is so great. I would never want to have another doctor. He seriously makes me forget that he is even doing the exam because he keeps me talking the whole time. Of course I had to talk about Colin and how big he is. My doctor couldn't even believe that Colin already weighs over 21 lbs.lol Well Samantha got out of the hospital today. She is doing much better. I am still not sure if they found anything out from the tests, but the good thing is that she is able to go home. I really hope she is feeling good by next Friday when we leave for our girls trip. Everyday I go onto the seaworld website and jaidyn and I look at all the things they have there. She is so excited. Everyday she asks me when we are going to seaworld. They have a breakfast you can have with Elmo, but it is $19 a person. Well I am willing to pay that for Jaidyn to see Elmo, but noone else going on the trip wants to do it, so I think we will have to pass. The menu looks like they have some good food. Anyways Elmo and his friends come by and talk to you while you are eating and you can get pictures with them too. Oh well, I guess Eric and I will just have to do that next time we take the kids. Eric and I are also planning a trip to Disneyland in November. I know that is months away, but I always like to plan WAY in advance.lol We are going to leave Colin home and just take Jaidyn. I think she will really love it. Well I think Colin is waking up from his nap so I better go get him.

The movie

was great.I wasn't so sure it would be good, but it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Heath Ledger did an awesome job. He was so freaky in the movie. After the movie, Eric and I went to Macayo's for lunch/dinner. We had a nice time. We were gone for about 5 hours total. Here is a picture of Colin yesterday in his Dale Jr onesie. That is Eric's moms favorite driver. She is seriously obsessed with him.lol


I got a message from my sister Jamie last night saying that my sister Samantha was in the emergency room and they think she has salmonella. They are going to keep her for 24 to 48 hours. Jamie asked if I wanted to go with her to visit Sam today. So I think I am going to go do that today. Other than that, we don't have any plans for today. I will probably just clean up the house and go tanning. I have become sort of addicted to tanning again. I never feel like I am tan enough even though Eric keeps telling me that I am plenty tan. Well Eric ran to the store to get us breakfast so I should probably get the table cleared off for when he gets home.

The Dark Knight

That is what Eric and I are going to see today. He has been wanting to see it really bad. Well it looks ok to me so I said that we could go watch it. It is 2.5 hours long though. Plus since it is going to be so crowded, Eric and I decided we better get there really early so that we could get a good seat. We will see if I can handle sitting in a seat for that long. Eric's parents are in town this weekend so they offered to babysit the kids today so that Eric and I could go to the movies. They come to town about every 6 weeks and everytime they come, they offer to babysit for us so that we can get out of the house. Yesterday his parents babysat for me so I drove over to TMA and went to lunch with Jamie. It sure was nice to leave the house by myself. Jamie and I went to The Olive Garden and it was really good. We did have a really slow waitress though and I was out of a drink for half of my meal. That always sucks. I was also mad because they bring you chocolate mints with your check and she brought us one. I was like hello, there are two of us here. Stuff like that really irritates me. Anyways, we didn't leave her a very good tip because she never even came by to check on us. Well I suppose I should go get the house cleaned up and get ready. Eric's parents will be coming over around 10:00 so that we have plenty of time to get to the movies. I really hope it doesn't end up to be a boring movie!!

It has been a long time...

Since I have blogged last. I forgot all about it. Although I figured since I have nothing better to do, I might as well start blogging again. I took Colin to his 6 month checkup today. He is getting so big. He already weighs 21 lbs 6 oz and he is 28 inches long. He only weighs 8 lbs less than Jaidyn and she is almost 2 years older than he is. I love his chubby legs and belly though. He had to get shots, but they were out of one of the shots he needed so I have to call next week to see if it is in so I can take him to get that shot. The good news is he doesn't have to go back again after that until he is 9 months old. So lately I have been trying to talk Eric into letting us have another baby soon. I figure why not get it all done and over with as soon as possible.lol Well he isn't really going for it. He told me he wants to wait another 5 years. WHAT??? Like I am going to wait that long. As much as it sucks being pregnant, I also love it. I am not sure why because the heartburn is unbearable(not sure on the spelling),but I still love it. Well since I am such a loser, I don't have much else to say.
