This day is never going to end

I don't know why, but today is going by so slow. I feel like it is never going to end. Maybe it's because I am so bored. I don't have anything to do. The kids and I went to Target this morning and we were in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. I didn't have to get much. On Saturday Eric, the kids and I went to the mall so that I could take Jaidyn's earrings in to get them fixed, get my ring resized and get my new Betsey Johnson watch Sam got me resized also. I went to Zales to get Jaidyn's earrings fixed. I ordered her some pearl earrings from Zales for Christmas and when I went to take the earring out of the box, the pearl fell off the earring. So I took them to Zales and they told me that without a receipt, it would cost $30. Well I wasn't about to pay $30 to get it fixed when the earrings already cost me $40. I printed out the receipt and I will take them back another day and get it done for free. I also wanted to get my ring resized while I was there. The lady helping us was so stupid. It usually takes alot for me to actually be rude to someone I don't know, but believe me. I had no problem being rude to this lady. She was trying to tell me that without my warranty paperwork, I couldn't get my ring resized for free. Why in the crap would I need my paperwork. They have my name and info in the system. Well apparently she couldn't find my name or Eric's name in the system so she wanted to charge me to get my ring resized. It was so irritating because I wasn't about to pay to get it resized when they are supposed to do that for free under the warranty. So anyways she kept asking us how much we paid for it and all that. Well of course Eric couldn't remember. Plus I don't see why she needed to know that anyways. Well she finally called the fashion show mall because that is where eric bought the ring from. They got it straightened out somehow and about 20 minutes later, she told me she could do it for free. I was just confused why our info wasn't in the computer in the first place. We both have accounts through them and we bought both rings from them. I have to wait until next Monday before I can even pick up my ring. Then we headed over to another place in the mall( I can't remember the name of it) but they took the links out of my watch and had that done in 15 minutes. We came home after the mall and Eric's parents came over to babysit the kids while Eric and I went and ate lunch at The Olive Garden. Then we headed to Wal Mart to get a couple of things and then went to order Colin's birthday cakes from Albertson's. His birthday is on Sunday and we are having a party in Alamo with my family on Saturday and a party on Sunday with Eric's family, so we ordered two cakes. The theme's are sesame street and cars. For both cakes it cost $60. I couldn't believe how expensive it was. Eric's mom insisted on paying for the cakes. I thought that was really nice that she did that. On Saturday night I was feeling sad that noone got me the Betsey Johnson perfume I wanted for Christmas, so Eric told me I could order myself some. He felt bad because he didn't know how badly I really wanted some, or else he would have gotten me some for Christmas. I ordered the perfume and with shipping it only cost me $35. That is a great deal for Betsey Johnson perfume. Good thing I bought it right after Christmas when they were still having good sales. Well we don't really have anything fun planned for New Years. Eric's parents offered to babysit tomorrow night so we could go out. I don't really like going out though, so I don't think we will do anything. In fact I am sure I will be in bed by 10:00.lol I know, I am such a loser!! Eric's whole family is coming over for dinner on Thursday. Thats about all we have planned for this week.

A wondeful Christmas

I would have to say that this Christmas was probably the best Christmas I have ever had. The kids and I drove up to Alamo on Sunday afternoon and stayed until yesterday. Eric came up on Wednesday morning and stayed the night on Wednesday night. Then we all drove home together yesterday morning. We were up at 4:30 on Christmas morning. I couldn't sleep that well on Christmas Eve night anyways, but then Colin started crying at 4:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep. So I took him out into the living room and gave him some cheerios. A few minutes later, my mom and Jamie woke up. Then a few minutes after that, my dad and my grandma woke up. We figured it was too early to call Sam to come over to open presents, so we figured we would wait a little while. Jaidyn and Eric were still asleep so I figured I would let them sleep a little longer. A few minutes later, we heard a truck outside and it was Sam. She was just sitting in her truck because she wasn't sure if everyone was awake and she didn't want to wake us up. So we called her and told her to get her butt inside the house.lol I woke up Eric and Jaidyn. Jaidyn came out of the room and she was so excited to see that Santa had eaten all the cookies she left. He even left her a note saying that he only left one present for Jaidyn and Colin in Alamo and left the rest at our house. We opened all of our presents at my moms and by the time we were all done, we had to pack up everything and head home to Vegas. The weather was pretty bad the whole way home, so we had to drive much slower than we normally would. We got home and as soon as Jaidyn walked in the door and saw her bike from Santa, she took off running towards it.lol It was so cute. Colin also enjoyed the mickey race track Santa left and his ride on toy. Eric got me the wii fit and the ugg slippers I really wanted. I was so excited because the slippers are so comfy and they have the hard bottom on them, so you can still wear them outside. My mom had actually gotten me a similar pair that are skecher slippers and they are gray. My mom got me TONS of clothes and they are all so cute. I was so excited for everything I got. We cleaned up our mess from opening all the presents and about an hour later, Eric's family got here. We ate about an hour after that and then just visited for a while until we opened all the presents from his family. Jaidyn was so excited, she couldn't wait her turn to open her presents. Uncle Alex got her the skates that she really wanted for Christmas, so she was very excited. Here is a picture of her in her new skates.
Colin got this new chair from grandma and grandpa and he loves it. Jaidyn has a princess one and Colin loves to sit in it, so they bought him his own. Here is a picture of him sitting in it. It just cracks me up how he will just hang out in the chair and watch tv. We had such a good Christmas and I am so sad that it is over. I love spending time with my whole family. I really need to take down our Christmas tree today, but I just feel too lazy to do it.

The last one.

I wanted to get Eric the GPS from Target. They had them on sale for a really good price and it got really good reviews. I was finally able to go to Target on Thursday night and when I got there, there was only one left of the kind I wanted. I got it right away before anyone else could come and grab it. I was so excited to get it. I mean of course they had others there that I could have gotten, but this one was within my price range and is supposed to be really good. Today has been a lazy day for us. We haven't really gone anywhere or done anything. I got the house cleaned up really good yesterday, so that I wouldn't have to do it today. Tomorrow I am going to clean the bathrooms and do laundry so we can leave early Monday morning for Alamo. It is supposed to rain/snow in Alamo on Monday, so I really hope it does snow alot so that Jaidyn can play in it. Eric is going to drive up by himself on Wednesday morning. I can't wait for this next week. My mom and Andrea don't have to work, so we can hang out with them for a couple of days and then Eric will be up in Alamo on Wednesday morning. Sam, Jamie and my dad will be coming up later that evening. Eric and I have to come home first thing on Christmas morning after we open presents, so that we can open all the presents at our house and then his family is coming over for dinner and we will exchange gifts with them. I wish we could stay in Alamo longer to spend more time with my family.

Finally!

I was finally able to figure out a good present to get Eric for Christmas. I already bought him a couple of things, but of course last minute I decided that wasn't enough and I wanted to find one more thing to give him that he wouldn't be expecting, but that I knew he would like. Well after thinking about it, all I could come up with was a new game for his xbox 360. The only problem is, he hardly ever plays it. This morning I was looking around on walmart.com and saw they have a GPS for a really good price. I am too scared to order anything online this close to Christmas, but I saw Target also has some on sale for a VERY good price. Andrea called there for me this morning and they have 2 left. Of course I can't run over there and get it now because Eric took the truck today and it has the car seats inside. He never takes the truck, but he did this morning because of the roads. So I can't go out with the kids today with no carseats. I am going to go to Target as soon as Eric gets home and I really hope they will still have one left. If not, it shows they have them available at some other Target stores around Vegas. I am hoping I can find one tonight. I really don't want to have to go anywhere over the weekend and the kids and I will probably leave for Alamo early Monday, so I don't have much time. I don't know why I didn't think about getting him one of those sooner. We could really use it for when we go to Cali, plus it will be nice to have just to go around town. I can't believe how sunny it is outside today and you wouldn't even know that it snowed here yesterday like it did. The snow in our yard is already melted. It was really nice to watch it snow for hours yesterday. I am glad I didn't have to go out in it though. Eric got to come home early from work because of the snow. I am just waiting for UPS to deliver 2 packages today. They were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but because of the snow, they didn't deliver them. I am hoping they get here today.

What day is it?

I have been so confused on my days since the weekend. All day Saturday I kept thinking it was Sunday and from then on I was confused. Well now today I am confused because Eric had the whole weekend and Monday and Tuesday off of work. Well since he went to work today, I keep thinking it is Monday. I am so glad it is Wednesday though. When I checked the weather on Saturday, it said it was going to rain in Anaheim on Monday and Tuesday. So we decided to go to Disneyland on Sunday. We left here at 5 in the morning and headed straight there. We were there by 8:40. I couldn't believe how fast we got there. I went about 80 or 85 most of the way, but I usually drive that fast. There was no traffic that early in the morning and we only made one quick stop to pee and that was it. We had a really good time at Disneyland. It was crowded, just as we expected, but Jaidyn got to go on all of the rides that she wanted too. I think we only had to wait in line about 10 minutes for each ride. We didn't get to go on Pirate's of the Caribbean though. That is our favorite ride. By the time we went to go on it, the line was pretty long. Plus Jaidyn had peed through her pants and she was so tired. So we decided it was probably time to go. Good thing we did because Jaidyn fell asleep a few minutes later. I really don't think she would have done so well standing in line for that long. We had a good time though. I love being at Disneyland and so does jaidyn. Here is a picture of us at Disneyland.
After that, we went back to our hotel. We rested for a bit and then went and got Red Robin for dinner. It was so good. After that, we went back to the hotel and went to bed soon after. We were all so exhausted. Jaidyn was asleep by 7:30 and Jamie and I fell asleep shortly after. We slept in until 7 on Monday morning. I was feeling sad without Colin, so I was wanting to come home even though we had a room for Monday night too. So after talking to Jamie, we decided to come home. Even though we knew we would be stuck in the rain most of the way. We headed home and as we were passing Fontana, we saw a sign that said Cajon Pass was closed. So we got off in Fontana. We decided to shop at Target to pass time and then we went and got lunch at Chili's. We figured we would see what happened with the weather and if it came down to it, we would have to get a hotel room in Fontana. Jamie and I were really sad because all we wanted was to be home. Well by the time we were done eating at Chili's, the weather didn't say that that Cajon pass was closed anymore, so we decided to just keep going and if it was closed, then they would just have us turn around. Well thankfully when we got to Cajon Pass, it wasn't closed. Traffic was moving very slow because there were snow plows in front of us. I didn't even care how long it took us to get home, as long as we could come home on Monday. It did rain on us alot of the way, but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. We passed lots of snow on the way home and Jaidyn was excited about that. We finally made it home around 5 or so. I was so glad to be back at my own house. Yesterday Eric, the kids and I met Jamie at the Galleria mall to do some shopping. I was looking for Eric one more present, but I couldn't really find anything. We were there for a few hours. We ate in the food court and then Eric and Jaidyn went and shopped while Jamie, Colin and I went and shopped. Then we stopped and watched the singing bears. The kids and I don't have anything planned for today. We won't even be leaving the house today. Tomorrow we will probably go to Target so I can look for Eric a new game for his xbox 360 for Christmas. I am trying to get Eric to let me go to Alamo on Monday. My mom and Andrea will be off of work the whole week, so I wanted to go up and visit. Then Eric can drive up after work on Tuesday or on Wednesday morning. I really hope the kids and I can go up early and spend more time there.

Thursday

Yesterday I met my dad at the mall to walk around. I had gotten a coupon for $10 off at JCPenney's the night before. I really needed some new pajama pants, so I decided to go see what JCPenney's had. I was able to get 2 pairs of pajama pants and a really cute sweater for just $30. Then I headed to Anchor Blue to look for some jeans. The night before, I was folding my jeans and I noticed that there was a tiny hole in the butt of them for wearing them too much. I have had them for about 2 or 3 years now. They are my favorite jeans. So I went to Anchor Blue to see if I could find the same pair of jeans, but they didn't have them. I am going to go to a different Anchor Blue to see if I can find them somewhere else. After that, we went to the food court to get Jaidyn a happy meal. When I told her we were going to the mall, she asked if she could get a happy meal. So her and I ate lunch there and visited with my dad. Last night after Eric got home I started to tell him how I was nervous that it was going to be raining on us the whole way to cali. It is supposed to rain here and in Anaheim on Monday. So he told me that we should get a room for Sunday night and head up a day early, that way we wouldn't have to drive in the rain. Plus we could get a good nights sleep on Sunday and head to disneyland. Instead of leaving here at 5 in the morning on Monday to get there when Disneyland opens. I looked up the weather and it is supposed to be nice and not rainy in Cali or Vegas on Sunday. So I asked Jamie what she thought and she said that would be fine with her. It makes me nervous to go a day early. I have to have everything planned out very well and since staying an extra night was not part of our original plan it makes me a little stressed out. I think that is part of my anxiety problems.lol I was able to get the same hotel we had already booked at the same price I had booked it for originally. I figured that we could just go to the beach on Sunday. Jaidyn loves the beach and last time she didn't really get to play much. It is going to be very cold, but I figure I will take a bucket and shovel for her to play in the sand with. I haven't decided yet which beach we are going to go to. Then on Tuesday morning, we will wake up and head straight home. I am really going to miss Colin. I have never been away from him overnight before and now he will have to go a couple of days without seeing me. Eric told me that him and Colin were going to go do some stuff. Eric has some christmas shopping to finish up, so they will probably just go do that. I am so sad because I have had to wrap everyone's presents in front of Jaidyn(except hers and Colin's) anyways she has been very good about not telling anyone what they are getting. Well last night she told Eric that he was getting the new batman movie. I felt bad that he knows what one of his gifts are. I told her she couldn't do that because now she ruined the surprise for him. She felt really bad and later told him that she was sorry for ruining his present. Hopefully she won't decide to tell anyone else what they are getting.

uno,dos,tres,cuatro

Yesterday Jaidyn was over by the christmas tree and she was counting her presents in spanish. She could only count up to 4 in spanish and then she didn't know the rest. I couldn't even believe that she could count to 4 in spanish. She obviously learned it from Dora because I didn't teach it to her. It's just funny the things that she learns from her cartoons. Today we went over to TMA to visit and then Jamie, the kids and I went to lunch at The Olive Garden. It was so good, but I have felt sick to my stomach the whole afternoon. Both the kids fell asleep in the car and even after I moved them into the house, they both stayed asleep. So I had some quiet time for a while. Soon after they woke up, Ashlee came over to visit. We visited for a little bit and then she had to go back to work. When she came over, she brought both the kids ring pops. Colin sucked on it for a while and then I took it away. A little while later, I gave it to him again and he did not want to give it up. It was funny because his whole mouth and tongue was blue. I called my dad to see if he wanted to go to the mall tomorrow. I don't really have anything to buy, but I thought he might want to get out of the house. We are going to meet him there at 10. It will be nice for us to get out of the house and also for Jaidyn and Colin to see their grandpa. On Friday Andrea, Jeremy and the boys are coming to town for dentists appointments. Andrea and Jeremy have some shopping to finish up, so the boys are going to stay at my house for a while. Jaidyn will love to have them over. She loves playing with Tyson and Rynan.lol Jaidyn always calls Ryan, "Rynan". It is so funny. I am getting so excited for our trip to Disneyland. Jaidyn keeps asking if we can go on the tea cups. That is her favorite ride, so I am sure we will go on that one a few different times. I am going to miss Colin while I am gone. I have never been away from him overnight before. When Eric called the hotel to change the reservation to my name, he requested a room on one of the lower floors.lol I asked him if he could do that because I really don't know if I can handle riding the elevator too far up. I just emailed the credit union today to find out about a loan for sean and kate's house in Alamo. Eric finally said we will try and buy it. I really hope it all works out because I want to move up there really bad.

What is it?

That's what Jaidyn keeps asking me about all of her presents under the tree. She knows which ones are hers because they are all wrapped in dora christmas paper. Ever since I put them under the tree, she has been asking me what they are. I got all of the kids presents wrapped yesterday. Now I only have a few other presents to wrap and I am all done. It doesn't seem like we have near as many presents this year as we did last year. I think its because last year we went way overboard with presents for Jaidyn. Plus, Eric hasn't put any of my presents under the tree yet. We went to Alamo on Saturday morning. We had a good time. My mom and I made sugar cookies. They are SOOO good. My mom made enough dough for 6 dozen cookies. So she sent a few dozen home with Andrea and we got to bring a few dozen home with us. Colin went down for a nap, so Eric and I took Jaidyn, Ryan and Tyson to the park. We were there for over an hour and the kids had a good time. Tyson played with his friends most the time, but Ryan and Jaidyn played together. We didn't do much else at my moms because we were too tired. We woke up on Sunday and my mom fixed us a big breakfast and then we headed home. When we got into town, we went straight to Wal Mart. I wanted to get Colin some more warm pajamas and I love getting them from Wal Mart. They have the Carter's brand which is the brand I like and they are only $7. I weighed myself last night and I lost 3 more lbs. I guess that is the 5 lbs I wanted to lose.lol I lost the other 2 a while back and never gained them back. It's weird how I lost 5 lbs when all I do is eat junk food constantly. Lets see if I can keep those 3 lbs off. We have tons of sugar cookies in there and I know I will be eating them until they are all gone. I have already eaten like 5 of them since Saturday. We are going to be switching Colin to milk instead of formula in just a couple of weeks. So last night I started mixing half formula, half milk in his bottle to get him used to the milk. He seems to like it. Hopefully he will like the milk by itself.

Disneyland Again!

We already have a room booked right by Disneyland for December 15th. We booked it through priceline, so we can't get a refund if we don't use the room. I didn't want the room to go to waste, so I told Eric that we should go to Disneyland again on the 15th like we had originally planned. He said he didn't want to go again since we were just there last week. I asked if I could take Jaidyn and have Jamie go with me. He said that was fine. He already has the 15th and 16th off of work, so he will stay home with Colin. I am excited for our girls trip. Jaidyn is going to be really excited to go back. I asked Andrea and my mom to go too, but neither of them can because of work. I didn't even ask Sam because she just got back from vacation so I know she wouldn't be able to miss work. We were going to go to Alamo next weekend, that is before we knew we were going back to Disneyland. Well I called my mom and asked if it was ok if we came up this weekend instead. That way next weekend I can wrap presents, do laundry and pack for our trip. She said of course. So we are going to leave on Friday after Eric's get off of work and we will probably come home on Saturday night. I like driving better at night, so we usually leave at night when we are coming home from Alamo. Jaidyn has been so good with using the potty lately. I really hope she will keep it up. She has a hard time telling me before she has to pee, but she has been really good about telling me that she needs to poop in the potty. Last night she finally told me she needed to pee. I was so proud of her and she was very proud of herself. I just hope she keeps it up because she has been really stubborn about potty training. I forgot to mention before that Eric never ended up going in for the interview for the dispatcher position. He couldn't get a typing certificate because he couldn't type fast enough. So he called to see if he could still go to the interview without a typing certificate and they told him no. Oh well, at least he didn't need the job. It was just something he wanted to do. Christmas tree and lights

On Saturday night, we put up our Christmas tree. It was so much fun and Jaidyn was so excited. She couldn't wait for us to get done putting the lights on the tree so that she could start putting ornaments on. It took a while with the lights because we kept ending up with too many or not enough, so we finally got the perfect amount of lights put on and then it was time for the ornaments. I let Jaidyn help me put them on. It was so funny because she kept trying to put all the ornaments right next to each other and she kept trying to put more than one on the same branch. I just let her do it and moved them around when she wasn't looking.lol I was a little worried about the kids messing with the tree all day everyday, but so far they haven't been bad at all. Colin doesn't even go over by the tree. Jaidyn has taken a few ornaments off so far, but she hasn't been too bad. Eric is always such a scrooge about Christmas. He never wants to put up the tree. Well this year I talked him into putting lights outside the house. Not around the whole house, but just some of it. Yesterday morning he put up the lights and when he was done, he wanted to go to Wal Mart and get even more decorations to go outside. I couldn't even believe it. I asked him when he got into putting up lights and he told me that after putting up some of the lights, he saw how nice they looked and he wanted to put up more. We went to Wal Mart and bought a few more things. I am worried about our plastic santa getting stolen. There are kids in this neighborhood that are always stealing things. Last year at Christmas time, I saw them steal one of our packages off our front porch. It just sucks that we have to worry about our christmas lights and decorations getting stolen. I forgot to mention in my post before that Jaidyn has been going poop in the potty. She went three days in a row last week. She would come and tell me everytime she had to go. Although I still can't get her to pee in the potty. I don't know why she won't. I gave her a reward everytime she went last week, so you would think she would go pee to get even more stuff, but she won't. I am excited because I had all of my Christmas shopping done except for Eric's mom. We wanted to buy her a digital photo frame, but we didn't want to spend too much money on one. Well Jamie and Sam decided they were going to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, so they said they would look for one for me. They found a 7" digital photo frame for just $40. I couldn't even believe they found one for that cheap. So now I am all done with my shopping. Oh except for one more thing. Jaidyn kept telling us that Santa needs to bring her a helmet for the new bike he is bringing her. She told us that she can't ride a bike without a helmet. So it looks like I am going to have to find a helmet to go along with the bike santa is bringing her. Other than that, I am all finished.
