I just realized that I hadn't posted anything in over a year. That is just crazy. I went private for a while because I had some creepers that kept leaving me comments. Anyways I decided to go public again and hopefully I can keep this updated more often.
So much has changed since I last posted anything. Eric lost his job at the Ferrari dealership last January and still hasn't found anything. He has been applying at tons of places and still hasn't found anything yet. He applied at the airport in Vegas and they did the final tests and interview and he passed everything so hopefully he will get hired there soon.
Since I last posted we have been to St. Louis and Illinois twice to visit Eric's parents and go to some Cardinals games. We also went to Disneyland on Thanksgiving with my whole family. Except my dad couldn't go. Even my grandma who is 81 years old went with us and we all had a blast. The kids loved going with the whole family and I have to say that getting to spend Thanksgiving at Disneyland with my family was so much fun.
Since Eric hadn't had any luck finding a job, I decided to go put in my application at a few places around town. About 2 weeks later I got a call from Rapport and they wanted to hire me as a housekeeper. That came at just the right time. I started in September and about 3 weeks after starting I had to take my first class LB1. At Rapport they have about 4 or 5 different classes that people take and in order to work there we have to take all of them. I was SOOO nervous and as much a I hated the class in the beginning, I learned so much from it and I can tell that it changed me as a person to have more confidence in myself. I made alot of friends that weekend and I am so grateful for all of them.
I decided I needed to try and find another part time job on my days off. The speedway is hiring part time and I used to work there in ticketing. I still go to work there for the big racing events. So they told me to come to work there on my days off. I am excited/nervous. I am just glad that I have been so lucky to find work since Eric hasn't had any luck at all. He has been trying so hard and I feel bad. As much as I hate being away from my kids, I know this is what I need to do right now and I know that eventually I will be able to stay home with them again. I was supposed to start at the speedway today, but I have bronchitis so I guess I will be starting next Monday because I work at Rapport this week.
Christmas came and went and it was a wonderful Christmas. The kids got lots of good presents and had a blast. Colin's 3rd birthday fell about a week later. I can't believe my baby is 3. It is definitely time for another. I just realized the other day that if things would have went as planned we would have been having another baby this month. CRAZY. Everything happens for a reason so I know when the time is right we will have another one. Jaidyn is turning 5 in March and it seriously makes me want to cry.
I am sure I am forgetting some things but this will have to do for now. :)
